To the family of Todd Daniels,
It is crazy how when you have a child with a chronic illness crazy things become normal. Weekly doctor visits, many people in and out of your house, knowing the difference between a bolus feed and a continous feed, knowing the difference between a neurologist and a nephrologist, all have become normal. You will have many people tell you how special you are for doing what you did with the care Todd. You may not feel special right now, but know that you are. Your son got to stay home with you all and know he was loved and cared for. That is very special. Please remember the good stuff. Know that he is gone to a much better place where the pain is gone. I am sure he is playing baseball already or maybe he has found my angel and they are playing together. I can tell you, this will be a rough road. A parent should never out live their child. You will make it through. Don't be afraid to talk about how you are feeling and don't forget about the wonderful daughter you have. I wish your whole family the best from a mother that has walked in this pair of shoes. Lots of love and prayers, Sara

To Todd's family,

May the sadness you feel right now be surpassed only by the certain knowledge that Todd is now free, happy and forever free of pain and sickness. I believe with all my heart that the joy we experience in Heaven is only heightened by what we suffer here on earth. I can't begin to imagine the joy Todd is experiencing at this moment and forever!
May the Holy Spirit comfort you as only He can and bring you absolute assurance that you will see your precious son again.
My most heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Frannie

To Todd's Family,
I may not know you all....but I feel your pain....I wish Todd's MOM the strength to live the rest of her life learning how to smile again....To Todd's Dad, more strength because he will need it for his wife and daughter...To Todd's sister, remember always the memories you had together!...I lost My Mom...in March...and I prayed to her to watch over him...I know they are together now...she will take care of him...People tell me: "Life Goes On"...I know that...BUT...I wish one of these people could explain to me HOW?....They are in a BETTER PLACE now...no suffering...no pain....You know when a person is born he comes into this world crying and everyone else is happy....now the opposite happens...they leave this world for a better place happy and leave behind all others crying....Todd will always be with you ALL and no one can ever take that away from you...never...I will always keep you all in my prayers...I will never forget....Linda

To all of you,
Although I really never met Todd, nor any of you for that matter...I almost feel as though I HAVE, and certainly plan to in Glory! We're really a family here, after all; We smile when others do, and when the rain falls we weep as one. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers, especially for peace and joy to comfort you in that blessed assurance that we SHALL be united soon, nevermore to experience loss!

God richly bless you all

To all of Todd's family and friends,

I just want to add to the above comments by expressing my own heart felt sympathy to you all at this challenging time. As you know, the real challenge is for those left behind; Todd has faced his challenges and defeated them! So we are all left with the precious memory of this very courageous little guy who will become more just a memory and yes, reality again very soon together with all of us and God in His kingdom. God bless you all.

We just came home from the graveside services for Todd.
It won't be easily forgotten.
Balloons were released into the sky, in Todd's honor.
The only things I can say to Todd's parents, is that my thoughts are with you.
Take care of yourselves,
Jamie
